About My Science Communication
Because science is meant to be shared, I am passionate about science communication. I believe that sharing science with broad audiences is one of the most important missions of a researcher — both to educate people about science and to build empathy for the animals we study.
From podcasts and live events to social media and public talks, I try to bring animal cognition (and science more broadly) to as many people as possible.

🎤🐠 PUBLIC INTERVENTION - PUY DE LA RECHERCHE
This year, I have participated in the Puy de la Recherche, a science communication event organised by the PhD students of the Puy de Dôme region to showcast the amazing research done in their universities.
And small surprise, the talented Anne Bernardi was there to live-draw our interventions. Check out my drawing below! Thanks so much to her for this work and thanks to the organizers of the event.
JUNE 2025
🏆️ 2ND PLACE - THREE MINUTES THESIS FRANCE
After several rounds of competition, I finally arrived at the national finals of the Three Minutes Thesis competition, where I had the honour to present my research in front of a jury and a fiery live audience. I am thrilled to have won the 2nd Jury Prize at the national finals, as well as the 1st Jury Prize, Audience Prize and High School Students Prize at the local finals!

I've had the pleasure to be invited by Arte France as an expert to comment their new documentary "Fish, not so dumb".
Accompanied by Sébastien Moro, a great science communicator, Guillaume Meurice, humorist and voice-over of the documentary, and guided by the amazing Marie from La Boîte à Curiosités, we've discussed the documentary in details (and in jokes!). It was great fun!
